Customers have reported that the Coolpix 990
(firmware version 1.1) responds slightly differently from normal
when connected to the MC-EU1 remote cord.
The differences are as follows:
1. The Zoom always reverts to the telephoto
position.
2. The under/over exposure indication (aperture or
shutter speed flashes) in the monitor which indicates
that an inappropriate shutter or aperture speed has been selected is
not activated. No indication of potential over or under exposure is
given.
These issues are under review as of 4th
October 2000.
