7. Setting the Diopter Adjuster

The Diopter adjuster of the Coolpix 900 may be simply adjusted by inverting the camera and looking at a point source of light such as the LED on a computer monitor.

The adjuster is now conveniently located on the upper surface and the point source gives an accurate indication of focus.
