2. Using the touch screen

The E-300 touch screen is a sensitive to gentle strokes from the stylus and does not need excessive pressure. If you find that the screen is not responding then it is possible that it has become mis-calibrated, and the actual position of the sensitive areas is different from that as indicated. To recalibrate the screen, turn the power off and on with the stylus touching the screen. You will see a set of coloured bars and a small red dot in the white area at the top left. Touch this with the stylus to make it turn cyan and another red dot will appear in the lower right corner. Touching this dot will complete the screen calibration.
