If other application software is activated while installing Nikon View 5 version 5.0.0 or 5.0.1 (version number as printed on the CD label) on Mac OS X, in rare cases, user preferences may return to the default settings or e-mail data may disappear .

Please observe the following precautions when installing Nikon View 5.
1. Before starting installation of Nikon View 5, please shut down all other application software including virus checking applications which operate continuously whenever the computer is running.
2. Please do not start other application software while installing Nikon View 5.

Currently the Nikon View 5.0.1 download service for Macintosh platform has been suspended on our web site.

It is expected that Version 5.1 (in which this issue has been resolved) will be available by download service around early June or mid June.
Further information will be posted on this web site as soon as it becomes available.
