The E-3 camera is equipped with a data input that allows GPS (Global Positioning
System) data to be included within the file format of each exposure.
The GPS data input connector on the E-3 is an 8-pin mini DIN and can be wired to a GPS
receiver according to the diagram below.

The E-3 accepts data according to the standardised NMEA format and has been tested with
a Garmin GPS III unit (www.garmin.com).
Once the E-3 is connected to the GPS receiver, all exposures taken automatically
include the current GPS information such as position, altitude and time.
