2. Managing batteries.

One of the worries when using a camera which relies on rechargeable batteries such as the E-2 is ensuring that a full charge is available whenever needed.
It does no harm to discharge a NiCd battery even if only half-used before charging it again.
Adopting a routine of discharging the battery using the "refresh" button on the EH-2 charger unit at the end of a day's shooting will ensure that the battery is fully recharged for the following day's work. The charger automatically begins recharging after it has sensed that the battery has been fully discharged.
