1. Resetting the Camera when error message 5 or 6 is seen

As with any device that uses a microprocessor, there is a possibility that the system becomes locked and unable to be used due to an internal error. In this case an error message 5 or 6 is often seen on the display. If this happens case you can reset the E-100 by holding down the "mode" and "erase" buttons whilst turning the power on and off.

Please note that after this operation, any pictures stored in the camera will be lost, along with the date and time setting.
