28 Ensuring that Camera Settings Remain Memorised

In order for setting changes to be retained in the camera memory, the camera must be switched off using the main power On/Off switch.

If the camera loses power either from the battery being removed or external DC power supply being switched off, any setting changes made since the last power off will not be retained.

This includes changed made with Nikon Capture via Firewire.
